The Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement helps MSU students build and enhance their commitment to academics, personal and professional development, and civic responsibility. The MSU Counseling Center is an international leader in providing collaborative support to thousands of MSU students annually to maintain a healthy environment for living, learning and growth. This mission "To Help All Students Succeed" is accomplished through a sensitive, multicultural framework which fosters understanding and inclusion of every aspect of diversity. The Multi-Racial Unity Living Experience (MRULE) offers students in Residence Halls and beyond opportunities to increase knowledge and understanding of what they can do to contribute to positive race relations in their lives and their communities. MSU Safe Place (MSUSP) offers many services related to relationship violence. The only domestic violence shelter and support program on a college campus in the United States, the program offers shelter annually to approximately 65-90 adults and children. MSU Safe Place annually provides training and education to over 15,000 people in the Lansing community.  Learn how you can support Safe Place.  


The Sexual Assault Program provides immediate crisis intervention and advocacy services to women and men who have been impacted by rape or sexual assault as well as proactive sexual assault prevention education programming for community members. Learn how you can support the Sexual Assault Program.
