Career Services Network

MSU's Career Services Network is a college-based and university-wide service unit designed to provide services, programs and resources to help students with career development, internships, job search preparation, and make direct connections to employment opportunities.

The Network annually partners with over 1,000 employers to help facilitate over 19,000 interviews through 3 primary career center hubs strategically located across campus. In addition, the Network has Career Consultants based in the major colleges who provide onsite one-on-one support to students, making it easy and accessible for today's college student to take full advantage of the Career Services Network.  

Annually the Career Services Network coordinates an average of 13 career fairs featuring over 1,450 employers. New in 2008, the program not only provides career services support for members of the Alumni Association but has launched a new "My Spartan Career" that is a sophisticated website students and alumni can use to track interviews, job listings, student appointment records, workshop invitations and career fairs.

Donations to The Career Services Network will support the following: Career Summit, Diversity Career Fair, Cram Sessions, Dining Etiquette Workshops, Career Advising Fellowship, Undergraduate Career Intern Sponsor, Electronic Resource Sponsor, Career Exploration Sponsor, Student Career Outreach Sponsor. If you are interested in making a gift to support the Network please contact the Student Services Advancement Office at (517) 355-7535 or make your gift online today.

**NEW INITIATIVE: Spartan Professional Network

Launched in collaboration with the MSU Alumni Association, the Career Services Network is working to establish a new mentor program in 2009 called the Spartan Professional Network. This program will provide a one-to-one relationship between a MSU Alumnus and a current MSU undergraduate intended to link alumni with current students who would like to gain a better understanding and explore potential careers.
